Nicki Aye
Physiotherapist
Nicki graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Medical Science and an Honours Specialization in Physiology and Pharmacology in 2021. From there, Nicki went on to complete her Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Nicki has experience working with a diverse range of patient cases across the continuum of care, including general musculoskeletal conditions, geriatric rehabilitation, amputations, spinal cord injuries, and acute cardiac care. In the post-graduate setting, Nicki has achieved her Level 1 Certificate in Manual Therapy from the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy and is excited to further her levels in Manual Therapy.
Nicki has always been passionate about exercise and promoting movement. Growing up, Nicki was involved in competitive ringette for 10 years, tennis, track and field, and recreational hockey. Nicki also worked as a group fitness instructor for 5 years, coaching a variety of classes such as high-intensity interval training (HIIT), spin, and cardio-kickboxing. In her time away from the clinic, Nicki loves to spend time with family and friends, hike, camp, kayak, paddle board, and attend group fitness classes.
